Snap-on veneers — also called clip-on veneers or removable veneers — are thin, custom-fitted dental shells that slip over your existing teeth without any permanent alterations, drilling, or adhesive. They're designed to improve the appearance of teeth that are stained, chipped, gapped, or irregularly shaped.
🦷 How the Process Works
Most brands send you an impression kit. You mix a putty, bite into it to capture your tooth shape, and mail it back. A dental lab creates your custom veneers from the impressions, then mails them to you — typically within 2–4 weeks depending on the brand.
- No dentist visit required. The entire process is done at home with a mail-in impression kit.
- Non-permanent. Snap on and off at any time. No drilling, no bonding, no irreversible changes to your teeth.
- Not a dental replacement. Snap-on veneers are cosmetic only. They don't treat decay, gum disease, or structural dental issues.
- Eating is possible — with caveats. Most brands can be worn through soft foods. Hard, crunchy, or sticky foods are generally not recommended.
- Speaking takes adjustment. Most wearers adapt within 1–3 days. Slight lisp is common initially.
- Not for everyone. People with missing teeth, very crowded teeth, or certain bite issues may not be good candidates.
